Are the Sponges & Bristles reef safe?

    The sponge should be fine, but the others look like aiptasia to me, nuff said?

    def some nasty aiptasia on there . . . try to get rid of them in another container using something like joe's juice or aiptas-X

    Yes bought the sponge for cheap (love the color) less the aiptasia.....

    i would have not put that in my tank not w/o getting rid of the pest nem and i think that is a low light sponge might wanna stick it in sum shade

    definately some major aiptasia on the sponges. Sponges require live phyto feedings and make sure you do not expose the sponge to air.

    As far as treating the aiptasia, i would not use Joes Juice (we have a blue sponge that has an aptasia on it) You have to be VERY carefull and not get the aptasia remover into the sponge. Sponges will suck that stuff in and can kill it. We are debating actually fragging the sponge off the aptasia in order to get rid of it (by the way......we are finding out that aptasia can kill sponge!)
