Are these bad snails??

    Just noticed these snails in my reef tank today. Had never seen them before, and today I noticed at least 3 of them. Sorry for the bad pic's, wasn't able to get a good one. Would appreciate any info and ID on them, thanks!

    From what I have been told they are reef safe, Stomatella varia.

    Thanks! My rocks all seemed to purple up at once. All the purple really adds nice color to my reef.

    no problem, I have some in my tank and they have multiplied like crazy.

    Yup goo and Stomatellas....I like them...and have some in my nano tank they've spawned but have only seen one extra one crop up, so now I have 3.
    They are related to the Abalone.
