    my lfs sell:

Acans for $10 a polyp. (like the heads on the rock. Ex: if there are 7 mouths then it is $70.)

they also sell Favia's for $20 for a quarter size piece.

and open brain coral for 40.00

are these good prices? i was wanting to get some of these but didnt know if i was gonna getr jipped or not. thanks in advance.

That doent sound to high, you might find them online a little cheaper, but by time you pay the shipping, the cheaper price don't look so good.

Their not bad, but it really depends on what the corals look like. My lfs had several large acan colonies for $100, there were probably 50 polyps. The colors were nice, purple, but nothing extraordinary. You can find multi colored, awesome looking acans, especially online for a lot more. The same goes for the favia. I think $40 for an open brain is a really good price.

They are good prices IMO, but it sounds like they may be pretty basic color morphs of each of them so that makes sense. There are lots of places that sell those types of coral for a lot more but they may be more fancy and have really striking/complex coloration or something.

i dont have money for any "one of a kind" coloration so i just go with the basics. like noraml frogspawn, blue maxima clam, and kenya tree frag. and i like the colors.

That's cool, I'm not knocking it or anything, just trying to explain what I thought might be the case as to why it wasn't a great deal as opposed to just reasonable-sounding prices. It doesn't sound like you're getting "ripped off" or anything to me though if that's your main concern. :)
