Are these levels stable for a maturing nano?

    Okay cool. i think i may be testing the mag specifically, more often until i get the hang of it. when using a dry dosing medium (seachem mag) how long does it typically take to fully circulate throughout the entire water volume? i want to be able to test at its peak level but not too early either.


    i typically do 2 gallons a week. i have approximately 23.5 gallons total. i like the idea of testing b4 and after the wc, that makes a bit more sense until i fully get a hang of the consumption rates.

    wow i had never thought of actually stirring up the salt itself! i certainly was not doing that! also what could cause a drop of the mag aside from sps consumption... which is not much. precipitation of some kind?
