    Hello All,

Are these majano anemones? They are really starting to spread, from some reading it looks like Joes Juice is what I want correct ?

    Thanks,

    Mark

its still a bit too blurry to give you a definate id but it does look like a kind of anemone. Use aiptasia x - better then joes juice in my opinoin.

Hard to tell with those pictures, it looks like your camera is focusing on the wall behind the rock. Does it have a macro mode by chance? Try that if so. :)

Does it look like anything out here? majano anemone - Google Image Search

Also, I believe if you poke it with something if it retracts all the way into the rock it is more likely a majano. It could be some sort of palythoa or zoanthid as well but those will just sort of retract into themselves and will still be visible on the surface of the rock as a bump of flesh.

Hi Screwtape, the answer to your question is yes, if you touch these buggers they pull right into the rock in the blink of an eye. They are a pretty solid green color with a slight pink on the tips of the tentacles so I do not think they are aptasia

As far as I know (I'm no expert) but if they are pulling into the rock entirely they are probably up to no good, either aiptasia or majanos.

    Nuke away imo!
