Are these pods or worms?

So I think I have a very-rapidly-multiplying group of copods in my 75g. I noticed them on the glass first. They look like little stringy worms. Mext question is on the rocks they look kinda different. The rocks have little stringy things with a ball or head floating in the water. So are these the same species and hopefully are they beneficial?

I think I know what you're talking about. They aren't pods. I have no idea what they are but I see them on a regular basis in different tanks after water changes.
I could be wrong. A pic would help;)
    Cheers

Nope they look like what OverThinker described; Threadlike worms on the glass.
Although, you refreshed my memory on the pineapple sponges. I think that may be what OverThinker has in his tank

I tried, there's no way I could get a pic, they are too small. They look like little peices of a clothe, stuck to the glass, and swaying in the current. They don't look like they are moving, just stuck in one spot. But now they are covering all 3 sides of my glass. Have no idea what they are but I hope good. That is why I have refrained from magnet use.

Do you have a fish that would eat such a thing (ex leopard wrasse, if they are pods) and have they grown?

Yes, they have grown, only multiplied, not size-wise. I don't have a wrasse. I have a sailfin blenny, a yellow tang, black urchin, 2 cinnamon clowns, 2 YT damnsels, 2 blue devil damnsels, a large hermit and a bunch o small hermits and snails.

Here, I will try to post a pic.

Maybe when the sponges poors get released, they stick on the glass? But these things are stringy and have no life to them. Wonder why there is no ID for them scientifically. Well, that I can readily know about...
