Are these signs of pre-spawning?

I have a pair of clownfish. They follow everywhere the other one goes. Just recently they been nipping at rock surface, glass walls , pretty much any surface in the tank. They would like kiss.. shake and alot of twitching and then go side by side and rub their bodies together. It sounds like they are in love? hahaha.. tell me wassup guys... If they are.. i wanna be totally prepare. By the way what do new born clownfish eat after they taken up their sac?

 

Do a search for clown breeding, the babies diet is very important. Also if you have anything else in the tank with them, the babies wont make it. Just food for the other fish.

what you need to do is..

have some kind flat surface like a slate. . in a QT

take the parents to the QT so they will lay eggs on slate and take care of them. but take the parents to the DT after they "hatch".

have a fake anemone in the QT so the new nemoes feel at home (optional)
VERY IMPORTANT: have a bubble up sponge filter installed. ( you dont want the babys to be sucked by the filter do you?)

make 10% water changes everyfew days.

search on the baby diet. not sure what it is.

and if you are succesful do this step.

THINK REAL HARD AND I MEAN REAL HARD......

NOW WHAT DO I DO WITH SO MANY CLOWNFISH?????.

Rearing fry is a full time job, be prepared for that. Clown fry need to eat rotifers, they won't touch anything else. So not only do you have to worry about raising the clown babies, you will also have to worry about maintaining and culturing rotifers to feed the clowns, then you have to maintain and culture phytoplankton cultures to feed the rotifers. It's a 3 stage balancing act, not considering having separate rearing tanks for the fry.
