My 33 gallon tank is having an algea problem. I already have 3 blue knuckle hermits, one left handed hermit, a blue legged hermit and 8 margarita snails and they seem to not be able to keep up, so I want to go get a couple turbo snails. I hear good things about them, do you think they will be able to keep up with the algea until I figure out how to solve the algea problem?

They're good algae eaters, but definitely investigate the source of the problem.

Agreed. Be careful though because they are bull dozers and can knock frags down pretty easily. But they are one of the best algae eaters IMO. I would probably only get 1 for your tank. They eat a lot. If you get 2 or 3, they will empty the algae from your tank and then starve.

I have 3 in my 40g and they knocked out a really bad diatom bloom in two weeks but they also bulldozed a small zoa colony off a rock on to the ground were a hermit crab ate it.
