Are you EcoSmart yet?

I've been running NTM for a 10 days or so, and what I really have found amazing was I can observe some corals growing faster. I have a hoek that has sat pretty idle for months, and suddenly it's half encrusted on the plug. I switched to RC a couple days ago as a horrida wasn't showing much PE for a couple days; seeing if RC changes anything.

Tank seems cleaner now too. Skimmer produced more for the first few days, and has now decreased to a more normal (for me) production.

 

I've been running NTM since I got the second one. Without it, there's not enough movement in the tank in certain areas. With it, there's plenty of movement, a large portion of which is pretty random. The only thing is, it seems to turn off NTM sometimes. Has anyone else seen this?

 

Yes, I've noticed the same thing.

Switched back to NTM last night, as I lost the Horrida. Must have brought my Alk back up too quickly (about 1.5 dKh over 4 days).
