    Before they go into the algae clip? Freezing/steaming helps break down some of the plant matter making it easier to digest.

    I feed only broccoli for any green's and thats about it . Then its use raw I have used it many yrs and never any problems there are natural sea grasses that are much tougher and they eat that stuff raw .

    I feed the seaweed stripes straight from the package. I dont need anymore complications in my life. Luna

    I feed freash grown calupra natures best. I figure it good in the wild why not in the home.

    Freezing/steaming also helps break down the nutrients. Its a double edge sword.

    I feed my rabbitfish/tang algae strips straight from the package and sometimes fresh macro algae from the fuge.
