Just got home from work to find a Dead

    1)Male Leapord Wrasse
    2)Scissortail Goby
    3)Fire Goby
    4) Flame Angel...

And The Mandarin is nowhere to be seen at all...

And I would suspect the female leapard wrasse, and the Goby with my Pistol shrimp is dead, but I won't know until I lift up their cave rocks.

$180 worth of livestock dead for sure,
    another $120 probably dead.

Everything was fine when I left.

when I found the deaths I tested water, normal parameters.

    Temp... was 94.5 degrees!!!!

MY FRIGGEN HEATER JUST KILLED MOST OF MY TANK!!!!

Right now the only obvious survivors are the 2 osc clows, and my starry blenny, and some snails I see moving.

Sorry to hear, I can't imagine coming home to that. I think when I set up my next tank I am going to have a system built in to shut down the heaters when it gets to a certain temp.

That does suck... Any ideas on how you're gonna try to prevent it from happening again?

A controller is a great investment for heater back up control...
