    brutal, so sorry dude, I can't imagine what that must feel like.

    It really seems like faulty heaters are responsible for a lot of deaths in this hobby.

    sorry for your pain. scary because of a heater. ime the low dollar heaters don't last or cannt control the temp steady.

    sorry, thats sad. it does seem that heaters are a big problem in this hobby. :(
    i just had a heater go bad and lost a few corals from its crazy temp swings. but i consider my self lucky, it could have been worse.

    Are these no good heaters? i have one in my tank if they are known for falure ill replace mine.

    i know how you feel i had a beautiful lionfsh die the same way after like 2 years, he was huge

    Sorry to hear about your loss. It's bad enough that we have to learn how to properly take care of the water so corals and fish can survive then a simple heater kills them.

    What name brand heater is it that failed?

    sorry to hear this, i feel for you.. this happened to me a few days ago, i noticed everything looked bad before i went to bed and i looked at my temp it was 92. i spent the next 2 hours floating bags of ice to get it down a little, i ran out off ice at about 89 deg. its a 240g dt, it took about 24 hours to get back to temp sorry for your loss..

    Very sorry to here,I had a total kill off about 2 months ago due to heater failure (yes it was a stealth),just now getting things going again,my tank got up to 96 and killed all fish,inverts and corals.I feel your frustration.
