    ahhhhhh thank you for clarifying that! does this do anything for the pH in a tank?

    Technically it should keep the pH either stable or raise it, as far as I know. If it weren't baked, it would lower the pH.

    I have been using the 4/1 ratio mixture and has been working good. I dont bake anything, just mix it 4/1, wait a couple of hrs, then pour it in the dripper.

    For the experts, does baking the baking soda make any difference?
