I would have to say Glen Loates. by far my fav. then again I prefer nature scenes and wildlife. I also prefer him because he did a hand drawing of my father when he was younger. If you dont know him, look him up.

I'm not much of a critic but i do enjoy going over to the chi art institute every now and then on free thursdays. I like the French Medieval painting a lot.. pretty graphic and gory. I wrote a paper on Seurat and i really like his oil on canvas work as well. nice vid thanks for posting.

I'm a big time addict for Wassily Kandinsky artwork. I have two prints, but never an original. I enjoy all of his work except the early period when he was mimicking Monet.

My polar opposite artist is John Ramos. He's a local artist that has received a lot of attention in the 90's.

for the old stuff, I love Picasso, and especially Pollock and Dali. recently saw an exhibit on Gorky at the Philly art museum that was pretty stellar.

I also really dig Harring and especially Basquiat...for more of the urban graffiti style

for modern artists, I'm a big fan of Alex Grey...very psychedelic, but also very spiritual.

    Very details stuff there... nice

Sure is art and very good wildlife art.

Yeah, I love all that old stuff.

    Some excellent realism.

Very unique and funky.. I like it.

Sweet ride. I have to stay away from cars or I'll get carried away.. This hobby is expensive enough as it is.

I really like Van Goghs Starry Night. I also like select works by Salvador Dali. There is a local spanish artist (local when I lived in Spain anyway), De Silva. For the life of me I cannot remember his first name. We have several works by him that are just stunning. I'll take pics when I can and post them up.
