What's your opinion on artificial coral? I am thinking about putting some in, but what are the pro & cons, if any?

To each his own is my thought. My preference is real coral. You will most likely need to clean it manually and the colors will most likely fade. Soft ones will most likely fall apart. On the other hand you will be able to keep fish that are not reef safe without worry and you will not have a need for spot parameters.
