    Sorry for no pictures, anyways I just received my Reef empire order. but i noticed in the bag on my scoly, there are some red/orangish and black/blueish fuzzy looking worms, are these guys bristle worms? or does anyone know possibly what they could be?

    Karma for the correct ID... I tried taking pics and it wont help the Item is still acclimating in the bag floating.

    no idea, maybe do a freshwater dip and see if they come off?

    Sounds like a bristle worm but with no pic hard to tell.

    sounds like bristle worms. some consider a bad thing, personally I consider them to be an important part of my cuc.

    You should always dip your corals before you put them in your DT. You never now whats hiding in there.

    I dont have anything to do the dip, Is it done with freshwater? or i know Iodine, the kind i have is Povidone-Iodine, Not sure if that can be used?

    Not sure if you can use that i know you have to use some special iodine for the dip.

    Most likely some sort of polychaete epitoke(larva). Do they swim really quick? Or are they stationary/slow? I wouldn't worry too much, as long as the coral looks healthy with no signs of tissue loss.

    +1 to dipping all coral and removing anything you're not familiar with. I wouldn't add anything to the tank you can't ID. Too risky.

    I do iodine (Seachem Reef Dip) and a Revive dip on everything as well as inspecting everything for flatworm eggs etc and other pests that you really don't want in your tank.
