+1 Thanks Mobalized. I have been considering rebuilding the overflow from 3/4" to 1" but it's been running fine. I have noticed some buildup and I'm sure in 6months + it'll get pretty funky. But all in all it's been a really good and quiet overflow. My fuge is doing great, the tank is looking healthy, waterchanges are so much easier now and so are top-offs

at the time most of those pictures were taken i had recently stirred up some things. i do not run carbon anymore, i used to but then got lazy after i removed it the last time. i really should run carbon until i remove my devil's hand. plus i've heard it really helps with clarity

Remaking my DIY overflow this morning, had a clog so I went with 1" and 5/8" tube, something has been clogging my overflow lately and it's gotten to the point of such a slow flow my DT almost floods everytime I turn on the pump.

Pretty sure since one of my astrea snails are missing and I've had a recent algae bloom maybe it got in the overflow and died.

Also ordered some new salt-mix by Kent and a few supplements for my FW Plant tank. Going to add a new light and considering Co2 but we'll see how the plants do after I add the Coralife Mini T5 and some 1-0-0

Tank looks awesome! When did you put a clown in and start putting corals in your tank?

Thanks man, I look forward to seeing yours develop. Any questions or tips needed just let me know, I've modified the crap outtA my cube.

I added the clown probably around 1mon which was after the tank cycled but keep in mind I started with quality live rock, not dry rock that needed seeding. I feel like this helped the innitial cycle but cost me. Lot more money. Added. Few leather corals thAt time too And hvent lost ny yet! Only problem w livestock I have had was when I added a 10g fuge, kind of messed w things fora week or two but now its ll lovely.

Forgive poor grammer and spelling, A key on my BB phone is being a PITA
