Some pics from today. The actinics turn into a UV blue on my iphone camera.

Funny story about the "trumpet coral." One day it disappeared. I looked through the sand, all over in fact, for this frag. I gave up, obviously not wanting to tear apart the tank for a $30 frag.

Well, I'd say about a year passed... and I was doing a WC when I noticed a lime green light coming from inside of the holes in my rockwork. My mushroom polyps have exploded lately, but it's a distinct green, and the Trumpet coral is more of a lemon lime.

Well I pulled this thing out with some tweezers, and sure enough there was my tiny little frag from SOooo long ago.

I have no idea how it survived. I haven't even a spot for it yet.. I placed it between some rubble. That about about 4-6 months ago, and as you can see in the photo.. it as already split a 3rd mouth. <3

I'll turn the main pump off and take some better pics either today or tomorrow.

If my clownfish continues it's recent temper tantrum, I will be redoing my rock work, as well.

Also, my stupid RBTA is in the back of my tank, I can barely see it.. but it is able to stretch into the light if it wants.

I've only had it for about 10 days at best.. and I know they are weird critters when new to a tank, so I have been crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

beautiful tank you have there! I know nems are crazy little creatures. It really does stink when they choose that bank of the tank to foot. I have had luck with once footed, moving the whole rock to a better viewing point and trying to match placement for flow and light. Both of mine have stayed put (fingers crossed) :)

Thank you for the response. I will try to move the rocks around after I get home from work, this afternoon.

I've just let it do its own thing for the past week or so, but I don't like where its at. It can reach light, barely, but it's near impossible to see.

I also feel I should rearrange my rockwork in order to curb some of the clownfish's recent territorial aggression. She's been chasing off my dottyback and goby for the past 3 weeks or so, and this behavior is fairly new.

I think she officially turned from male to female, because she had a massive growth spurt about 6months ago. Looks beautiful but I don't like the attitude.

Thanks again for the kind words.. should have some more pics posted later today

I was moving some rocks around yesterday and she nailed my arm and drew blood. Impressive bite mark to say the least. I was like holy sh!te!

I've been using the net to block her from my arm lately and she has been attacking the net like a great white would attack a seal.. thrashing and ripping. It's actually funny, I should record it.

I will upload some photos soon, just gotta pull them off my phone.

The RBTA finally moved its way to the front of the tank, after about 10 days of adjusting to the lights and water.

It's inching towards my Euphyllia patch, so I may have to break off some corals and glue them to another rock :-(
