dude...I got 6.78 wpg. Wicked, eh. Don't ask about how many bulbs tho. :). I seriously need to consider adding 2 fans. That thing is a killer when it comes to evaporation. Im adding a quart every morning, and a quart every night. At least I think it is a quart. lol

Good to see someone one else using T-5s. You know you don't need 6 watts per gallon. But went is it ever too much ;D. What brand of bulbs do you run?

Uh...good question. The lights came with the fixture. The bulbs say TOTA...don't know much about the brand.

    Covey,

question how many T5 you think it would take to light a 92G Bowfront. I need to measure the depth but i have a LR mountain that is U shaped around the tank.

Currently I have 2 atentics and 2 PC that i slapped on there just for light cuz I had it from a 30G i sold. Right now Its just fish and some snails starfish. :( lost all my anomes and polyps a while back

haven't had time or money to put into it recently but just got a bonus so I want to upgade my lights and get some things back int he tank since its looking alittle bare.

The lighting question is always a touchy one so I've been reading reading and reading. The T5's have caught my eye I just can't seem to find many running them yet. I could get 2 250w MH for a decent price but if I can get more 5's and they are brighter anyway I'm definately going to consider it.

I can get you pics if you want to see what im starting over with.

First of all what are you planning to keep in there. Stony coral, soft coral? If memory serve correctily I seem to remember that a 92g bow front is fairly deep. The LR mountain should help. So if your going to keep lower to moderatily light demanding coral I would go with 5-6 bulbs. If you were going to run SPS I would go with 8 bulbs. I didn't get wether you were planning to keep running your existing light or not but I hope this helps.

Ok, I am going to be getting a 120 in the future and MH with the cost and heat are a bit of an issue. T-5 Seems like a nice alternative. I want to keep both SPS and LPS. What would you recommend? Have any links to where to buy this stuff? Thanks!
