    Hi Guys and Gals,

Just got this bad boy as add-on for the refugium I'm setting up, right now its not hooked to the main tank (refugium that is) and there is just fresh, clean SW in there, my question(s) are, first man it is LOUD and secondly it kicks out a ton micro-bubbles, now the excess bubbles could be due to "clean" water.....but the noisy pump I wouldn't think's water related...I just think the pump is a piece of junk, IMO.....you folks got any suggestions on a better pump for this skimmer !!!!

    Yor thoughts are appreciated....

the sedra on my G2 was noisy for a couple of weeks then settled in and got quieter I'd say give it a bit of time and see if it breaks in with time

    Update........

I was wrong:-[:-[:-[ this thing rocks...............What happened was, first I assumed it was properly assembled so I just put it in the refugium and bingo VERY loud....so I finally pulled it out of there and wouldn't you know it the ceramic shaft was not centered in its rubber bushing....so it rattled like all get out.... I centered it up and now u don't even no it's running.....VERY quite and I actually I like it......:cheesy::cheesy:

The refugium is now hooked to the tank and in only a few hours the amount of micro-bubbles has been drastically reduced so we're off.........
