ASOV waste line is still running

    after installing the asov, float valve and elbow check valve waste line still running when the pure water stop.

    is it suppose to stop? or did i do something wrong

    I'm going to guess the ASOV needs to be installed on the line into the RODI unit, rather than the pure water line out of the unit.

    Auto shutoff valves get installed like so:

    Sometimes a float valve does not provide a positive shutoff and it requires a bladder tank to provide a cushion.

    Check to make sure you do not have any air trapped in the system, this often causes problems too. You also need to give the ASOV time to shut down, its not an immediate thing and may take several minutes to sense the closed float valve condition.
