Ok I am delving in the world of calcium reactors for the first time. I normally Dose/drip all my needs but want to see what the reactor does for me. What I am looking for is what else you guys that have reactors are adding? What have you tried that hasn't helped or worse yet hurt your reef. The tank is going to take a while to setup so doing some more research to bide my time till I can get elbow deep.

What kind of reactor did you get? How long has it been going? Mine is up this weekend. (PM 422) Maybe we can both learn something. :)

Actually order the one from Lifereef. http://lifereef.com/frame.html
I ordered the Lf1-300 Berlin filter and skimmer and the reactor. They should all be in around April. but the reactor may be a little later depending on his production schedule. I am not concerned about that as it may be a few months before I even need it with the fresh live rock and sand. But yes I will keep you posted and would like to here what works for everyone to maybe save my tank the trials others have lived through

I don't add anything on a regular basis. I have added Mag. but that has been it. Regular water changes seem to bring everything into line nicely. I do fittle with the CA R quite a bit
