I have had these guys in my reef tank for a couple of months and i did not see a issue at first but now theres hundreds. I know theres a shrimp that will eat them but my problem there is my fish would eat the shrimp. I have a sailfin tang, tomato clown, and a domino damsel. Does anyone have another solution on how to get these guys out of my tank? Thanks

the harlequin shrimp will eat them and thats the problem with this beautiful and deadly to starfish shrimp, this is to me one of natures animals that should remain in nature, it will only eat starfish and it will eat those little ones up very quickly and then starve to death if not given more to eat, this is now i rid mine when there are to many.
let the algae grow on one end or both ends of your tank glass these little fellows will come to eat it like hogs to slop then with a small airline hose siphon them off the glass in a few days they will be pretty much gone, then clean the glass

but if you decide to get this shrimp this is a great guide to there care
