In order to use the warranty, you will probably need proof of purchase, usually a receipt and possibly have had to register the warranty by filling out a card of some sort or something online. I don't know what the details are as to the biocube. If you ordered online, you can probably use the online receipt or even credit card bill to show proof of purchase, but you need to do this now. They may condition it on you sending it to them and them inspecting it. If you did do repairs or attempted repairs, they may not honor the warranty.

I may of missed it but how long have you had it? Call the company and see what they can do. Tell them exactly what happened, what you did and see if they can either send something to seal/fix the leak or send a complete replacement tank. As a manager, I try to help my customers as best as I can even after the 30 days is up. Don't give up.

Well, tell them your story and give it a try. Who knows what they might think. Never hurts to ask!!

I would call them and explain to them the exact problem, you can always pick the silicone off, if they decide that they are going to replace it. Ask to speak to a supervisor when you speak to them.

I dont know anything about the biocube so I dont know about their warranty, or where you ordered it but if it still should be under warranty and you feel that you are in the right, you can complain to the better business bureau if they are not willing to help you.

I am a bit confused on what happened, but it seems like you have had the tank for 3 months with no issues and then it started leaking? I honestly do not think that a tank is only 3 months old should leak.

Dont give up on salt water, some times bad things happen, and you have to get beyond them. Maybe look on craigslist for a replacement?

If you can't get a refund on the Bio Cube, look for a used tank. Do you have any local reef clubs that you can get some help from?

Didn't you say you had $100, buy a 30g tank at petco.
