HI all i have benn off line a while now due to struggling to sign in & moving!

Tank update ........ got rid off the really bad cyano & also got rid off the nasty brynopsis by raising the mag for 6 weeks! amazing really that my tank when from doom to perfect all within 4 months! finally got my nitrate to 0 with nothing using it up (like the cyano & brynosis to give me the false 0) Also manage a really smooth house move 4 weeks ago and didnt loss anythink! I have to admit i did have it planned down to each step & minute and was very fussy so probably made my helps think i was a little obsessed with my fish! I now have two fish ... a flame angle & a yellow tang and with my clown they are all like true friends. They stick together and never fight!
Ill post some more upto date pictures oh yeh and i also want to say that i have been using TMCs LED lighting units for the past 3-4 months and its amoazing how much my ridicorda mushroom & others have mutiplyed in them! its crazy i have gone from have one to having 5 in the past 3 months and i cant even count how much my blue mushrooms have mutiplyed! I think i had 10 but there are now well over 30 and they are spreading all over the tank! each big one that moves to a different part off the tank make about 3-4 baby mew ones within 2 weeks!

Anyway its nice to be back online again!

I have had the mushrooms under T- 10 lights for 2 months and they were fine but i wanted to upgrade my lightin so it was stronger but didnt want to go to MH due to it being ti exspensive in the uk to run. so i did some reserch and found that T-5 were ok or i found the LED lighting strips made by a company called TMC ? I did alot off reserch and found that the people that took the risk & tryed them had great results but it was still not very relyable as many people had only used them for up tp six months (as they are a new method for lighting reef tanks) so i decided after talking to the production manager at tmc that i would give them a go. In my personal opinion i think they are excellent! I spent £380 on 4 LED stips & also got 2 T-5 bulbs (as i was worried that the led might not turn out to be as good every one has said!) They are so cheep to run, they make my tank look stunning and like i said i had my mushrooms under my original lighting and they were fine but when i fitted the leds they went nutts & are mutiplying like crazy! Im going to swich to all led once i have saved £180 to get one more set to replace the 2 t-5!
Hope this long story kinda answers ya question!
    Thanks K
