Jon (2in10) is right, I saw a BIG change in my corals when I started letting my tank be. My SPS are rocketing off along with everything else.

One thing I would like to mention is your test kits. I would ditch everything API and go with some well known brand. We both are working with smaller amounts of water, its very crucial we have the most accurate readings to prevent any types of swings, crashes ect... When you place your order for Calibration Solution I would look into Red Sea, these test kits are great, also you can find refills for 50% of cost.

    Good luck

So far I have a torch that is doing better.. Everything else is around the same, nothing getting worse. I calibrated my refractormeter. It read 1.029 when it should have been 1.026.. Well see if I slowly up the salinity if it will make a difference

Everything is much better already. I reduced my lighting by an hr, stopped carbon dosing, but i did keep up reef energy because i really want it to work. Sps are finally encrusting, the wellso was pure white now its colored. The rainbow was brown, now its red and gold.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I believe in spot feeding corals - cyclopeeze mixed with oyster feast on each coral every other day or so. Especially in low nutrient tanks. This hobby has come a long way in a few years and now it's pretty easy to over compensate for all the years we had low light and too many nutrients. Now it seems that over illumination is a large issue and quite a few tanks just don't have the nutrients with our huge skimmers, carbon dosing and sumps.

Yes they are :) from one head to that.. I have a bunch of good ones red blue and purple hornets, fruit loops, keds red, nuclear green, pennies from heaven, electric oompa lompa, jokers, to name a few.. My favorite are the black and orange ones and they were sold to me as a scare face morph.
