ATB keeps polishing their econo-line of skimmers. The ATB 840 and 1050 now come with seamless molded cone bodies, highly polished edges, skimmate drain valve, removable base plate, and option of the large or small pinwheel.

What no more gaudy orange? I thought that was a good marketing "signature"

I am still trying to convince this guy from our club who helps ATB design their skimmers to get me one at more of an "econo" price!! :D

ATB actually dropped the econo name and will now be the 840 v1.5 and 1050/1050a. The will still have the red accents and can be special ordered in white. Reef Specialty will be stocking a few of the white 840 v1.5 for those interested.
