    I actually have a brand new aquablue special im not using.I could swap it out with the actinic and take some pics for you.That would be the combo you were looking for right?

    That would be true. ATI B+ have the highest PAr of any blue spectrum bulb out there.

    I have been using them since they first came out after the B+ replaced the ATI 20,000k blues. The B+ is a much better bulb.

    I personally use 2 B+ to light my tank with the 2 MH setups I have. When the halides go off, it is very blue, I don't think I would want that blue of a tank all the time.

    You know the pics dont look that different but I can tell you that there is almost no visible blue to the naked eye with the aquablue in that combo.It just looks white...

    I even asked my lady to get a second opinion on the color and she said it looks white.No or very little blue.My camera just really pics up on the blue from the blue +'s.Sorry the pic didnt help much.

    The color in that picture looks perfect.. I can't believe that the one aquablue completly takes out all the blue.. Thank you for taking the time out to do this.
