I received this press release yesterday that the cool ATI LED/T5 Powermodule has shipped and I thought I'd start a little poll. Would you use a LED/T5 combination on your aquarium? Tell us why or why not!

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ATI LED Powermodule LED + T5 Fixture Now Available from US Retailers.

Torrance, CA -- April 8, 2013 -- Clear Choice Distribution, US-based distributor of premium aquarium supplies, announced today that the 24W, 39W, and 54W models of the ATI LED Powermodule lighting fixture have shipped to U.S. retailers. Clear Choice Distribution shipped its first orders out on Friday, April 5, 2013 and are now available for purchase through retailers in the 48 contiguous United States.

“The LED Powermodule offers a unique combination of both LED and T5 lights in a really sophisticated fixture housing,” said JoVette Curtindolph, Account Specialist at Clear Choice Distribution, “It’s a good looking fixture that really shows off aquarium corals and other livestock beautifully.”

The ATI LED Powermodule features 75W LED clusters, each with a full spectrum white, blue, royal blue and red LED color channels that can be independently programmed using computerbased control software and are capable of 0-100% dimming. The active cooling system allows lights to run at a more optimal temperature for improved output and bulb-life. And the heavyduty, curved housing conceals all components, except for the LED power supply.

Heck yes, this light has everying. I would snatch this up if I had more money. The only down fall to this ATI is the price really, but it seems that all ATI fixtures have a fairly hefty price tag.

Sweet light but why doesn't ATI make an iPad app interface for this, seems like that would be a much better option then having to cable a computer to your light every time you want to make a change. An AI Director type setup should be easy enough, just saying for the cost of the fixture they should have an option like this.
