    Hey 3reefers

    I'm in need of four new bulbs for my 4 by 54 watt fixture. I've posted about lighting months ago, but I'm finally now just ready to make the purchase...

    Now that they do not offer the ATI Pro Color bulb anymore, what bulb combo would you all recommend?

    I was thinking two Blue Plus, and two Aquablue Specials. Does that sound good? I don't have any experience with bulb purchases, it has been a year with the stock bulbs my fixture came with.

    I just bought some Giesemann, 2 powerchrome actinic +, 2 Aquablue + bulbs, it looks white to me but that is what I wanted. They're only 1 month old so growing I'm not sure yet, this is also my first replacement set. Good reefing to ya!!

    Would you mind taking a picture and showing me hoe it is with only the blue plus and another with all the lights?

    Do you want your tank to look more blue or white?

    This would be my combo of choice...the KZ bulb can also be interchanged with the ATI Purple Plus or Giesemann AquaPink these days.

    I just upgraded myself. I went with 2 x Blue Specials, a purple plus & blue +. Been real happy with them & my corals are definitely happier & have shown some great response, but I was upgrading from fixture factory bulbs.

    I what i use in mine in that order on one side and the other the middle 2 are switched.

    I have this config, though I have had them for 7 months or so & need to replace them already. I'm going to follow this, since I was looking at the ATI bulbs.. The ATI are a few bucks cheaper also.
