TEK is good, much better than the Current Nova Extreme Pro, but you will definitely want the one with active cooling. With that being said, ATI has probably the best T5 lighting fixtures on the market. With superior ballast and high end reflectors, the PAR value and depth of the penetration is better than than what TEK has to offer. I understand that ATI is expensive, but if you are looking into keeping sps I recommend it. Im currently using the ATI sunpower, a more economical approach to the ATI powermodule, but still superior to TEK. I have had my fixture for 10 months and love it.

I personally with with the ATI Sunpower, after trying to decide between Sunpower, and the TEK Elite. I chose the ATI because of having better reflectors and the ballasts are higher quality(from what I hear) then the TEK elite.

It also will depend on what you are keeping. I'm keeping LPS in a 125 and can only run 4 out of 6 bulbs with a standard TEK 36" above the substrate. Can't even put acans or favia directly under the light. I considered the ATI, but I really didn't need the extra power. I still spent the money that I saved on the reef, though. ;)

ATI 6X54 Sunpower and be done with it! I have it and grow sps in the sand of a 90gallon tank, they are par monsters, believe it.
