    yeah i had my young blue tang die today and i think it died from marine ich. it was swimming really dopey this morning when i woke up then i looked closer and it was breathing real heavy then it died a few hours later. did yours have white spots on it and how long did you have it?

    Bit of an old thread, But from what I've learned is that with Tangs they are highly highly susceptible to Marine Ich and It's best to have a UV sterilizer on the system for like 2-3 months before/after adding one or other fish to prevent them from catching it.

    Fresh Water Ich is easy enough to treat, but marine on the other hand is the worst nightmare.
