ATO and Reefangel

well i read the reefangels pack description and see it comes with its own ATO, i wana hear from ppl who have bought and used the ATO from reefangel.

1.is it good and is it reliable
2. will it due until i can purchase a tunze
3. how hard is it to mount the ATO from reefangel controler kit

The ato need a bit of tweaking depending on what you use for a pump. It was a built in time out feature of 60 seconds, that can be reprogrammed to 355 seconds. I was using an aqualifter so you can imaging why this was a issue lol.
Other than that, you gotta build something to mount the switches to. Pretty easy. Now they have new sensors that are fool proof as well. Its pretty ingenious.

does the company that make reefangel sell the sensors or what sensors would yoy recomend for the reef angel

 

tthe little float sensors is what i use, but they have pressure sensors now that cant be sabotaged by snails. Matt Rogers posted an article about it.

can i get a pic of how you had the switches set up and which aqua lifter you were using and what the time out feature you have it set to?
