    if thats the case ill use the reefangels till i can get the tunze system but if the one the reefangel comes with right now works might as well use it while i can right?

    I have been using it for over 18 months no problem. I just made my own holder out of egg crate.

    Yes! No reason at all to spend more money. Once you get it, I can post a code for you to change it so you only need to use one float. This has been working great for me for a few months now. I use the other float as a high water sensor in my DT in case my overflow ever failed (it will shut off my return pump and turn on the alarm buzzer).

    One of the benefits of using one floats is the sump level remains more constant than using 2 floats. For a pump, he suggested a Tom's Aqualifter (which is what I use as well). They are less than $20. I also changed the hard coded timeout time to 30 minutes (1800 seconds), which would be a max of 1.75 gallons.
