and another thing.. I wouldn't buy the level-loc, just make one to fit your setup.

Just thought I would show a diagram of our ATO for those that my be interested. So far it seems to be working. I may try to add another float valve to each sump in case one sticks open.

thanks duf. I read a thread the other day talking about adding a timer. I may do this. The RO/DI has a flush kit... but I think the timer would do a better job of keeping the filters clear.

eh, too late. Already have it. I'm not really into making these sorts of things. I'm the sucker who pays good money for easy DIY ;)

    Thanks though!

Nice diagram dude. You are running that may sumps? Excellent.

Correction, it was TritonsGarden who helped me with my ATO, along with Screwtape and ReefSparky. I apologize...
Thank you TritonsGarden, everything is working great now!!

Peredhil, don't feel bad, I got it too.. paid 100 bucks for it, it's a great device! I put it in my sump, I made a similar one for my RO container.

OK, I have my RO/DI hooked up.

I flushed it for an hour like it said. It's been going for a while now to fill up the reservoir. The level-loc should turn it off when it is filled.

It has a TDS meter from the RO -> the DI and one from the DI -> out.

The first is 15 at first and the second was 0. A couple hours later and it was 85 and 0 respectively.

That doesn't seem normal to me. The reservoir is filling w/0, so that's fine... but seems like the DI is getting dirty water.

The PSI is about 62. So that's good.

I also tried to hook up the Tunze osmolator. It has an electronic laser sensor and a float one. Thing is, I can't get them to hang over the lip of my tank.

It has little bracket pieces that I'm suppose to have screws that go into them to make the bracket. Problem is, the holes are not threaded and are smaller than the screws...

Guess I'll call BRS when they're open tomorrow... :-/

So I have RO/DI now... but I don't have ATO yet. And my TDS seems too high going into my DI... hope this will get resolved soon.

Loosened the compression nut on the Level-Loc slightly and the output sped up to a descent flow and the TDS of the RO dropped to 8.

Also, I called Tunze and they are sending me replacement bracket pieces. They were very nice to deal with.

Hope to have this hooked up by weeks end.

The only sucky thing is that I have to lower my water level for these sensors to work. I'm lowering slightly by evaporation bc I want my SG up to 1.025 (from 1.024) anyway. I'll get a slightly up'ed concentration of Ca/Mg I'm guessing too.

I measure w/my refractometer twice a day. Once it hits 1.025 I'll lower the rest of the way via water removal. Which I'll give to the POD farm who has been losing salt via air stone bubbles exploding on the surface and sending salt creep to the entire surrounding area... Think I need to lower the farm's water level too :-/
