Sorry about your switch, sounds like no flood, right?

FWIW- I use a nice ~$8 all plastice float valve, hooked straight to my
    RO/DI unit.
I hand dose Kalwasser. Mainly B/C if I made a container to hook the float valve to, and dosed in that, I've heard that the Kalwasser eventually will clog the float valve.

    Works for me

I ran the JBJ ato for about a year. But I will never run those cheap float switches on my tank ever again. The controller they have works great, but the switches would fail to register due to the cheap little magnet in the float. I had them fail so many times, luckily my reservoir was only 2 gallons. Never tried the tunze, let me know how that works.

Well the Tunze has been installed for 3 days now. It was super easy to setup. And the electronic eye works flawlessly. I like that it it fills multiple times a day and small amounts, so there is never any kind of salinity swing. The second switch is only there if the eye fails, and if it is ever triggered it sets off an alarm, which is really cool. So far I am very happy with my purchase.
