Attaching a Colt Coral Frag

    So I was finally able to get the colt coral to stay put! I have it tied down onto a rock with 2 pieces of shose laces. I noticed today that only about half of the base (where it was cut) is actually touching the rock and I'm pretty sure it is already starting to attach itself. Will it be ok with only half of the base attaching or should I tie another piece of shose lace around the end that isn't touching the rock?

    if it is making definite contact at one point, then IME you can leave it
    it will gradually attach itself more securely and then you can remove the lace

    normally takes a couple of weeks or more IME
