attacked by bristleworm

    i just noticed my christmas wrasse laying on its side breathing heavy.....i took a scraper to move him to where i could see him better and noticed he has bristles sticking out of his head.....he is just laying completely still breathing very heavy and when i touch him he trys to swim but cant right himself so he swims upside down.....is the a chance he can recover or should i put him out of his misery?

    he is trying to swim now but he moves in a quark screw pattern so hopefully its a good sign hes trying to swim

    is there a bristleworm attached to him?
    aspirating and non balance are not good signs.
    got a picture of this bristle?

    no....just bristles stuck to his head/face

    sorry the video isnt working....it looks like when people get stung by bristleworms and cactus like spikes are in the skin

    never seen a bristle worm sting.. I guess can you catch him and tweez them off of him?
