Yeah I got em all tuesday, and the look mostly dead. Soooo well see.... They definitely were not DoA, but no looking good at all :(

And my favorite coral in the system went into full blow RTN today, fragged the whole colony trying to save it, but stuff has been kicking my A** lately.

Lost the skimmer completely, waiting 10 days for warranty replacement.
Lost return completely, just got my Tunze installled and LOVE it.
    Lost the Rhomboid.
Lost my dosers (Had to be shut down during this madness)

Yea we both use PIA and DD exclusively for online fish orders. Great guy Kevin is. I have never used RP before this so I don't know how they normally are but this time was not awesome.

Sorry to hear those incidents.. Just a bump in the road for you, but my corals from ReefPets were fine and they are thriving in my tank (green slimer, tenuis and acan). As long as they're not DOA, theyll come back strong in your tank!

Sorry about all that, it sucks when luck doesn't seem to be on our side!
So you were able to get a new pump? I saw a thread earlier in the week where you were getting the run around trying to have it replaced under warranty.

I hope the new frags turn around for ya too! Keep us posted

Thanks! I think they will, just a matter of time. :cheesy:
Thanks! Will do on the keeping things updated. I think they will be fine, they all have some form of PE and I have been spot feeding.

I didn't get it replaced under warranty, I just shelled out the cash for a replacement. Was only 70 bucks shipped and I needed the skimmer up ASAP. I am however immediately going to replace it with a Tunze Silence Hydrofoamer pump to just be done with this crappy Atman stuff. It'll take a bit of modding to the body, but I'll get er going:p

It made me kinda anxious, since I have the same skimmer! Keep us updated!

Haha, well these pumps are know to be pretty low quality long term. That's why they are so darn cheap! ;)

I think I'll get it warrantied with a bit of extra work, BigAls does a great job taking care of there customers. I think I just spoke to someone who didn't know the program.

IMO you'll be fine, maybe keep a back up in case something ever goes wrong. I just have fallen in love with these Tunze pumps and wanna get something insanely reliable going, even if there is a bit of modding involved. I saw a guy running a cone 250a1 by SWC with a Tunze and it absolutely nuts, hence my inspiration. Haha.

    The bad luck continues :(

This morning I removed the mesh top I have in order to feed, went to the kitchen to grab the frozen food, came back and fed and could not find my Black Leopard Wrasse. Replaced the tops, thought he was maybe just asleep still or whatever.

Come back in the room, still cant find him, start looking around the tank and found him dried up on our tile floor on the side. I honestly am so bummed... I can't believe he got out in just a matter of seconds, it literally was a 30 second walk back and forth.

    Man... life sometimes...

Man that sucks, you have my deepest condolences. Our leopard is our newest addition after waiting so long for a local healthy one.

I have a cover, but it needs improvements done on it.<this is the second jumping wrasse thread i've posted this on,so I think I know what my evening project will be tonight. We'd be devistated (my wife especially) if it made it through one of the gaps.

Sorry for your loss, they're an awesome fish.
