Rhomboid just showed up at the door. Let acclimation begin! Will post photos as soon as he is out and about. Just a little guy this time. Much smaller than I thought it would appear.

As a first time order from DD I gotta say, the shipping alone takes the cake. I couldn't believe how nicely everything come in. On the downside, FedEx (their only carrier) SUCKS! They guy didn't even knock on the door, which I sat next to all day waiting. The only reason I knew it was there is you could hear the thud from him throwing the box up our 3 stairs to our front door.

I remember KCbrad was complaining about FedEx delivery in Seattle as well. However, I love FedEx here. But UPS sucks. One time the sender forgot to include the unit number on the package label, but the FedEx delivery man recognized my name and came straight to me, how cool is that!

You've really never done a DD order before? Surprised at that.

I've gotten to the point I almost prefer them a bit on the smaller side. It's more fun to watch them grow and transition into terminal males. My rhomboid has done quite the change from sub-male becoming closer and closer to terminal male.

I probably would have pulled the trigger on the Vanuatu Hooded yesterday had I made up my mind quicker; don't know if you saw it. I would have done the Nahacky's had they been priced in the 5-6 range. Guess I'll wait for Johnsoni's still.

Fedex and UPS are awesome around here. Living about 4 miles from the main airport hub surely helps though.

I typically do Saturday delivery from DD, and it's almost always the same delivery guy. He knows where the DD boxes go. Of course, I always meet him at the door before he even gets to it.
