Thanks 2in10! I got it all installed under the tank along with the reefkeeper for tomorrow morning, should be good. Although I am currently pressure testing the tank, as I brought my Mom over to show her, and she promptly pointed out a crack in the bottom front left corner right along the silicon. Of course I had never even noticed it, and it took her all of 2 seconds to see it and tell me.... Moms...::)

I hope it is okay and just a defect from the glass cutting, as it looks as though the original silicon was used to fill the defect. So far 20 minutes in and not as much as a drip... I hope it holds up!

Thanks! Yes it easily pulls out for maintenance. My last canopy I built was similar to this in design, but the lights bolt in from above and I can safely say it is a pita to change around anything. Hence why I went with this design LOL

OMG, I'm finally almost finished! Thanks to my girl, travis, and his girl the move was successful for the most part. Only losing 1 peppermint shrimp

I will post a full run down of the process tomorrow when I'm not quite so exhausted. But heres a single teaser photo for now.

New fish list is, a 1.5 inch blue tang, 2 inch yellow tang, and my old clowns and six line wrasse. Travis inherited the old orange stripe bristletooth tang I had in the 70 gallon, as he was getting too large for my system. He now has a much larger and happier home!

Finally got some time to do an update!

So... heres how our day went
Woke up tore the old tank down, bagged fish, drove em 35 minutes to Vivid Aquariums and drove home, Travis took the tang I gave him home and acclimated him immediately. Then the real work began.

Moved the tank inside, had to put the sump and pluming in from the back so obviously did that and slid the tank into position as seen here.

Worked on getting the plumbing hooked up to the tank, since it was obviously disconnected so we could move the stuff into the house.

Pulled the rock out of the Brute trash can it was in and placed it on the floor to see what was there.

Travis and his gal started aquascaping for me, as she has quite the eye for it, and he is great at stacking the stuff so it doesn't fall down on me

Filled the tank and heated the water back up, then acclimated some very PO'd clowns, the new yellow tang, blue tang, and our old sixline.

The next morning everything settled and Wooo we had finished! LOL Minus a whole bunch of minor details.

Inlcuding, shimming the tank level, plumbing skimmer and building a stand for the skimmer, re calibrating and installing the reefkeeper and ph/orp controller, heaters, return pumps, electrical hook ups, figuring out the flow, setting new light timers, re-gluing all the coral frags and colonies and a whole bunch of other stuff. It was a loooonng day for sure!

As always, thanks for checking it out!
