Vodka dosing could be useful if you want your pairs to mate. Womp womp...

I have been doing vodka dosing since october and my maintenance dose is 4ml. And yes my levels have dropped and corals have improved. But you have to realize that if your parameters are off(like Calcium, Alkalinity, Salinity, or Magnesium), just because your nitrates and phosphates are 0 doesn't mean your corals will be happy. I learned that much.

 

yeah man im with you, besides what i read before doing it thats all i have learned as well..if you do it the right way and go slow with it, you will see improvements but gotta keep your params ideal as well..

 

Just as was said earlier, one of my main intentions of the group and thread was to prevent the (no offense) reaction of "woah! this works? im starting tomorrow!"
