I am going to hold off on the angel for the time, pygmies from what I heard are touch and go. so there is a risk. I have decided to get a couple of gobies and we'll see what else I would like something other then just a clown and a bunch of gobies

 

Look at there feeding requirements! If it was that easy every one would have one. I can not stress any harder that a mandarin dragonet should only be kept In very large systems, or with a dragon that will eat Mysis. If it eats Mysis it still hunts live. THIS FISH IS FOR EXPERTS ONLY Sorry to come off strong it just kills me every time some one kills such a amazing fish on accident, I am just letting you know do more research. Make the best desitions for your tank and the fish. Not just your eyes

 

Lol no worries thats why I am here "Research" and I had only asked because I did not know, but have decided against it lol, I will just stick to gobies and clowns, wrasse etc. small easy guys. until I am ready to move up to the big leagues. Thanks though

 

No problem. It is a daily thing these fish get put in tanks cuz there amazing looking but they are a very special fish if you want to do it it will be possible but work work work

 

yes so I have heard, I have started a pod farm, and introduced them to my tank and they are reproducing rapidly,as I have placed filter foam over my intake, this does slow the filtration a bit but it allows the numbers to explode, so in this sense it could help but still I know I would have to hatch brine and mysis on a regular basis. I have heard that some green spot ( or target) mandarin gobies will eat prepared frozen foods, but the hard thing is finding one that you know for sure will do this, and this is a risk I'm not sure I am ready to take.

 

What I would do is live at the fish store (not really) and use Mysis and try to feed them any of them that seamed intresed went to a different tank and I put hold on the tank. The next day I would try agin. And finally I was down to two after 3 weeks that would eat the frozen PE Mysis every time it interred the tank. Then I tryed brine. Frozen pods and they eat it all. I believe the fish dose not know it likes food we have to show them they do. So I took the fatter of the two he would always eat more! And the Lfs sold the other one for 10$ more. I started my "test" with 12 dragons. So it is very hard to get them to eat. And also I have a 65 gallon with 15 gallon fuge.

Nope nope Lfs got a shipment thats why I said I lived there cuz I had to go there every day and stay for like 2-3 hours.

 

And pleas tell me when I have kids I don't have 12 at once!!!
