I am slightly concerned about my auriga butterfly. When I got it the fins were lightly frayed, which I assumed were from transport. There does not appear to be any red spots or cloudy-ness. Which leads me to rule out fin rot. My only other idea is possible bickering with tank mates.

    The tank mates are:

    Niger Trigger
    Yellow Tang
    Porcupine Puffer
    Miniatus Grouper
    Volitan Lionfish

I have never witnessed any serious aggression between the tank mates.

What do you guys think? Bacterial or aggression problems?

I tried to attach pictures *fingers crossed*

    BUMP!

I have quarantined the butterfly. While I was trying to catch him, I noticed that the yellow tang would chase him when he hid in a certain spot. Is this normal? Is the yellow tang just defending its spot in the tank or is it bullying?

I really hope someone can help me...

Thats exactly what it is, the yellow tang is beating it up, what I would do is redo your rockwork and reacculmate the fish when the lights are off. The yellow is thinking everything is its territory. You change the rock it gets all confused and realizes it has NO territory and then see. Also and this works put a mirror on the side of the tank. The yellow will think that there is another one in there and try to beat the reflection up. Both of these worked when I had a purple beating on a yellow
