    +1 to everything including me not being an expert on fish. But my thoughts and experiences with other fish is that it will heal up.

    Thanks for everything guys! I ended up moving him to the main tank today, I didn't feel like he was happy being in qt for as long as he was, needed more space. 10 mins after introduction he was swimming happily and everything looks promising. His injury has improved since my last post, the fin is getting less red every day. Thanks!

    I figured this all out! Okay-so yesterday I saw him twitch his head twice, thought it was abnormal because he didnt do it at all in quarantine! Figures. I believe it's gill flukes because his gills are opened a bit more than usual. So, I started with prazipro yesterday and will go for a couple weeks. But i didn't see him twitch at all today, so that's good. I think it's because of the gill flukes that he came out with this weird injury on his fin, so once I get the flukes out of him, I'm guessing the injury will go away for good!

    Thought of all that in the shower, thanks again for your help guys!
