    I run an ATO.com unit and my only complaint is that it is too sensitive. I haven't plugged a hole yet, but probably will soon.

    I vote neither. There is only one sensor, making the possibility of the sensor failing and no back up causing an over flow high. Spend the extra money and get an ATO w/ 2 sensors.

    x2, I didn't even think of that. I have the 2 sensor unit as me flooding my wife's house would be the end of my hobby(and probably me). Its not that much more for the peace of mind.

    I use a double sensor autotopoff.com one. Used for 2 years now. Has performed flawlessly.

    No experience with the other.

    You can put your ATO on a timer to help with the sensitivity and keep your TDS from creeping.

    Definitely get one with two sensors! I had the single one from ATO.com and it failed and flooded my tank with freshwater. Thankfully it wasn't enough to kill anything, but did make my tank spill over the edge all over my carpet. Not fun!
