Hey everyone. I've been struggling with finding my BEST option for an auto top off system for my set up.

I don't want to break the bank but I still want something that will be reliable and not flood my sump! Right now I'm seriously considering the following two set up ideas.

    1. POWER LLC
Spectrapure Power Liquid Level Controller with an Aqualifter pump.

    2. AutoTopoff.com
AutoTopOff.com Double Switch Controller with an Aqualifter pump.

Does anyone have any opinions? Thanks!

I have option #2 , minus the aqualifter since mine feeds from the garage. It has worked great, never had a single issue. I did have a small snail get into my sump and grab hold of the lower float and well you know, but the upper switch did as expected and prevented a flood in my house. I Would buy another if this one ever quit working.

My sump is crawling with all kinds of little snails and what not. This is one issue I'm trying to avoid.

i have a single float from autotopoff.com fed by a aqualifter.
works great, never had a issue. my solenoid is in section where my return pump is which has no way to get snails into it. although i know there is a DIY thing that someone took a bigger peice of pvc around the solenoid so snails cant get stuck in it. may be worth looking into.

Anyone have experience with the Spectrapure?

I have the Spectrapure UPLC-II and its bulletproof. Its not cheap but it has features iothers don't have like an adjustable level anywhere from 1/10" to 4" and an adjustable flow rate so even if the sensor and the backup float switch failed it could be set so slow you would never overflow, that a double back up.
It was in this sales flyer a few days ago but I see they ahve replaced it with others now, even the one you are looking at I think is on sale.

They stand behind their products and another nice thing is they are DC powered so are safe around water.
