    Greetings,

I am making a DIY topoff with an arduino and a couple of float swithces. I am having a hard time deciding how much water I want to add at a time and how often it should run. Right now I have it set up to run and add about 1.5 gallons of water at a time to a 90 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. This seems like it might be too much at one time. Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

1.5 gallons is a lot to add at once,Even for a 90 gallon. My 75 evaporates about that a day. I wouldn't want to dump it in all at once. My ato pours about a cup of water every half hour or so
