Very cool. I would love to help out and beta test.

How does this unit compare to the Genisis Renew waterchange system? What is the price point you are looking at?

There are a number of structural differences than the Renew system and one primary business difference, which is what you touched on, the price. The reason I started this endeavor is that I thought the Renew system was both too complicated and too pricey. No doubt it is the "Mercedes" or "BMW", I went after the "Honda" market...

The system I've built is designed to be easy to operate, interface with any of a number of controllers easily (for both operation and alarm conditions) and, most importantly, will be much less than the Renew in price. The base control unit will be the primary component and most expensive. There will be a number of optional components in ATO/main pump shut offs, fill/drain reservoirs, additional safety switches, etc., but one can either do without or utilize their own materials for such. (example - there is a float switch to check for low water in the supply tank - not essential, but nice to have)

The system supports systems an external ATO, but does not have one in it - future project, perhaps :)

Something like this would be awesome to gt my wife while I go to Korea for a year. I am really interested to see how this works on your system and I will be following along. Great work so far.

Sign me up for beta testing, I could really use something like this. With multiple tanks, water changes can eat up a good deal of time.
