    Slowly making some progress.
Here's my DIY sump. Regal plastics will cut it all for you including overflow teeth. I can pick up local so no shipping it was $277 for it all plus $20 for some weld-on and applicator.
It's 48X 15.5H X 21W =67 gallons. Still gotta cut some holes for the pipes coming back to filter socks and maybe probe holders. Fingers crossed for the leak test but looks pretty clean and very easy to glue together with the red clamps. They are a life saver.
Acquired a used Vertex Alpha 250 for $500 locally, and a new Reef Octopus DC5500 return pump. So far the DC5500 seems about as quiet as the red dragon. I've only tested it to see if it runs though so we will see. The theme here is going to be super quiet...as I'm also building a bean animal system.

Sweet tank! What are the dims?
Also, for lighting I'd do either Razors, DIY, Nanobox, or maybe Radion PRO's....

With the price drop of the Radions I am now thinking I may do that. I don't really need light for another month or two so I'm hoping the Hydra 52 may be out but if I can't wait I may just get 3-4 Radion Pros. Razors sound good to.
    Tanks is 72" 24H X 30W.

Sweet dims! I would do Razors, custom Nanobox, or DIY far before the Radion and especially the Hydra 52

Slowly getting there. Got it on the stand today and find out the stand is not perfect. There is a gap of about 3/32" on one of the corners. Tomorrow I'm going to have to take apart part of the stand and make some new sections so it will fill that gap. Frustrating cuz I thought for sure all the cuts were just right. Also I can tell with a level it won't be perfectly level without some shims. So gonna work on that this week. Painted the back myself.
Also I made the mesh sock holders in the sump and a home made probe holder. Got lucky and found a nice 1/2" piece of Acrylic in the scrap bin at Regal plastics. Perfect for sock and probe holder.
For the probe holder... I have a cheap thread tap set from Harbor freight. The one I used was 1/4 " 28 threads. Well got the the store and find out they don't carry that nylon bolt at Home depot.. but they do have 1/4" 20.. So I just bought a metal 1/4" 20 bolt and reamed out the hole with that to make new threads. It worked and now the nylon bolt fits in the threads.

If it wasn't rimless I would say ignore the gap. Have you though about a Styrofoam pad? Are people still doing that?

It's on a styrofoam pad. I painted it grey since I have a clear bottom... didn't want to see the pink .
I'm going to cut some new sections and see if I can raise one corner that appears to be off.
